Adjunct Nurse Aide Instructor – Multiple Campus Locations

About the role

Lanier Technical College is seeking part‑time Adjunct Nurse Aide Instructors to teach across several campuses. The position involves delivering didactic and clinical instruction for nurse aide programs, both online and in‑person.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and teach assigned courses using approved syllabi, ensuring course outcomes align with program objectives.
• Assess student progress, grade examinations, and maintain accurate student records.
• Deliver instruction in classroom and online settings, offering day and evening class options.
• Participate in in‑service training, workshops, and seminars as required.
• Maintain safety and security standards in training and laboratory areas.

Required profile

• Diploma in a medical or health‑science field from a regionally accredited institution.
• At least one year of relevant work experience.
• Valid Georgia Nursing License.
• Ability to obtain GA Nurse Aide “Train‑the‑Trainer” certification within 60 days of hire if not already certified.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift 25‑50 lb.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Competence in operating work‑related computers and online teaching platforms.
