Engineering Project Manager IV / Senior Project Manager

About the role

Lead and coordinate multi‑disciplinary engineering projects for federal clients, ensuring delivery within schedule, budget, and quality standards. The role involves direct client interaction, contract management, and oversight of design and construction phases.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project delivery teams, including designers, reviewers, and subconsultants, and coordinate shared services such as contracting, accounting, and legal.
• Manage client communications, provide regular updates, and address issues with proposed solutions.
• Oversee contract execution, scope definition, and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, risk registers, and issue logs.
• Control quality through peer reviews, independent technical reviews, and checklist compliance.
• Support business development by updating pipelines and fostering client relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Registered Architect registration.
• 11‑15 years of project management experience with at least 5 years of design experience.
• Demonstrated leadership, strong communication, and ability to manage large, complex projects independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with spreadsheets, word processing, and standard office software.
• PMP certification (preferred).
