Emergency Room RN – Full Time with $8/hr Specialty Pay

About the role

Cabinet Peaks Medical Center seeks a full‑time Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care in a fast‑paced ER setting. The role includes a potential path to a Charge RN leadership position and offers an $8/hr specialty differential.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive head‑to‑toe assessments, including pediatric and geriatric patients, and reassess as required.
• Triage patients safely and accurately, determining care priorities based on physical, psychosocial, and flow considerations.
• Administer medications following the six rights, manage pain, and educate patients and families.
• Assist providers with procedures, perform point‑of‑care testing, and interpret results.
• Coordinate and supervise patient care, maintain documentation, and participate in departmental meetings and continuing education.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current RN licensure in a compact or MT state.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; NRP within 3 months of hire; TNCC and ENPC within 12 months.
• 2 years of ER nursing experience preferred (not required).
