Embedded Software Engineer, Radar

About the role

Reliable Robotics is developing safety‑enhancing aviation technology and needs an Embedded Software Engineer to join the Embedded Systems team building a next‑generation phased‑array radar. The role will directly support aircraft demonstrations, higher‑level capability development, and eventual product certification.

Key responsibilities

• Develop C++ flight software requirements, design, code, unit tests, and requirements‑based test cases following DO‑178C procedures.
• Create Python integration test cases and work on numerical optimization, networking, protocol drivers, memory interfaces, and the software‑to‑FPGA interface layer.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years developing C or C++ for deterministic embedded systems and translating complex mathematical algorithms into performant code.
• Hands‑on experience with driver‑level software for software‑to‑FPGA interfaces and high‑bandwidth data pipelines.

Required skills
