About the role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our client’s team in South Burlington, VT. The position focuses on preparing accurate cost estimates for commercial and industrial electrical projects.
Key responsibilities
- Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents.
- Prepare detailed material and labor cost estimates.
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for pricing.
- Attend pre‑bid meetings and site visits.
- Support project managers with change‑order pricing.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of electrical estimating experience.
- Experience with commercial/industrial projects.
Required skills
- Proficiency with estimating software such as Accubid or ConEst.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and NEC code.
What we offer
- Hourly rate $50‑60 depending on experience.
- Full‑time W‑2 employment with medical, dental and vision insurance.
- Weekly direct‑deposit pay and paid time off after a set period.
- Potential per diem based on assignment.
