Airport Project Manager, Charge Operations

About the role

BETA Technologies is seeking an experienced Airport Project Manager to lead the deployment of electric aircraft charging infrastructure. You will oversee projects from concept through construction, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and delivering high‑quality results on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Manage on‑airport installation of electric aviation ground support equipment, including charging and battery conditioning systems.
• Create and maintain project schedules, budgets, and track expenses to meet target margins.
• Coordinate permitting, FAA approvals, utility connections, and construction activities with architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Conduct regular inspections, audits, and scope change management to maintain quality and timeline integrity.
• Serve as primary contact for Charge Network Projects, providing updates to internal teams and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of commercial project management experience in infrastructure or EV charge network deployment.
• Experience with contracting, construction management, and high‑voltage electrical systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, including international trips.
