About the role
Think Academy is seeking a remote, part‑time ELA Curriculum Research & Development Specialist to help design and refine K‑5 English Language Arts instructional materials. You will work closely with the curriculum team to ensure alignment with Common Core standards and modern instructional frameworks.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in curriculum structure discussions and design lesson frameworks for assigned units.
- Finalize product design details and produce high‑quality courseware.
- Create pre‑class, in‑class, and post‑class teaching support materials.
- Incorporate feedback quickly, adjusting courseware logic and supporting resources.
- Conduct final content reviews to guarantee logical consistency, standards alignment, and file readiness.
Required profile
- 3–5 years of frontline teaching experience in U.S. K‑5 ELA.
- 3+ years of experience in ELA curriculum product development with a proven track record of independent design or deep participation.
- Familiarity with Common Core ELA standards and classroom activity design.
- Proficiency in major U.S. reading and writing instructional frameworks (e.g., Reader's Workshop, Writer's Workshop).
- Strong instructional logic, quick learning ability, and reliable on‑time delivery of high‑quality curriculum products.
