EKG/Telemetry Technician – Night Shift (Full Time)

About the role

This position provides individualized, direct patient care by performing quality 12‑lead electrocardiograph (EKG) tests. The technician maintains the cleanliness and proper functioning of EKG equipment and carries out clerical duties as directed by leadership. The role works three 12‑hour night shifts per week, including rotating weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, instruct, and educate patients on the EKG procedure.
• Perform diagnostic 12‑lead EKG tests and recognize arrhythmias.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adapt communication style to respect patient privacy and cultural needs.
• Perform additional related duties as required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Preferred Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) credential.
• Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and extended shifts.
