Education Specialist & Recruiter for Sustainable Trades Alliance

About the role

The University of Arkansas at Monticello seeks an Education Specialist/Recruiter to support the Sustainable Trades Alliance (STA). This professional staff position will coordinate class scheduling and drive recruitment for forestry‑related programs across multiple agencies and schools.

Key responsibilities

• Organize and schedule STA classes and workshops on the UAM‑STA campus.
• Collaborate with external agencies, organizations, and K‑12 schools to attract students and workers to forestry and manufacturing career pathways.
• Maintain recruitment pipelines, track applicant progress, and ensure compliance with university hiring procedures.
• Provide administrative support for program logistics, including venue booking and resource allocation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a field related to the Sustainable Trades Alliance or equivalent experience (5 + years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Arkansas’s forestry and manufacturing industries.
• Excellent organizational, collaboration, and task‑management abilities.
• Familiarity with K‑12 career and technical education pathways is a plus.
