Adjunct Faculty – RN Tutor for PN Program

About the role

The University of Arkansas at Monticello seeks an Adjunct Faculty member to provide tutoring, study‑skill support, and instructional assistance to students in the Practical Nursing (PN) program. Working under the Director of the PN program, you will help students succeed in their clinical coursework on an as‑needed basis.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver one‑on‑one and group tutoring sessions for PN students.
• Assist students in developing effective study strategies and clinical reasoning.
• Provide supplemental instruction and clarification of course material as required.
• Coordinate with the Director of the PN program to align tutoring activities with curriculum goals.

Required profile

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with the Arkansas Board of Nursing.
• Minimum five (5) years of clinical nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to mentor adult learners.
