Economic Empowerment Program Manager

About the role

The Economic Empowerment Program Manager will create and launch a workforce development program for IRC Montana. This role involves designing service delivery, building employer and community partnerships, and expanding the program across the state.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a comprehensive workforce development program from the ground up.
• Establish and nurture partnerships with local employers, community organizations, and workforce development boards.
• Expand program reach into new geographic areas throughout Montana.
• Develop sustainable funding and partnership strategies with public‑sector entities.
• Represent IRC Montana in strategic discussions with state and local workforce development stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in program design and implementation, preferably in workforce development or economic empowerment.
• Strong track record of building and managing employer and community partnerships.
• Experience engaging with public‑sector agencies and workforce development boards.
• Ability to work strategically in a nonprofit environment and drive long‑term sustainable outcomes.
