About the role

We are seeking a passionate Early Childhood/Kindergarten Teacher to join Sagewood STEAM Preparatory Academy for the 2026‑2027 school year. The teacher will deliver engaging, hands‑on lessons that support academic growth and social‑emotional development for students in Columbus, Ohio.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and adapt lesson plans aligned with school‑approved curricula.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and development.
• Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment.
• Integrate technology tools to enhance instruction.
• Communicate regularly with families about academic and social‑emotional growth.
• Participate in non‑instructional activities and collaborate with colleagues.

Required profile

• Active Ohio teaching license in the appropriate content area.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
• Experience working in an urban school setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to supervise students in various settings and pass background checks.
