Door Greeter / Luggage Coordinator

About the role

Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando is hiring a Door Greeter / Luggage Coordinator. The role welcomes guests to the hotel, handles luggage and assists guests with transportation, while keeping traffic flowing safely. The position requires working a varied schedule, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests to the hotel and provide parking information.
• Ensure proper and safe traffic flow.
• Store luggage for guests when guestrooms are not ready upon arrival.
• Summon taxis for outbound guests and give information on other transportation options.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hospitality or a relevant industry is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, spoken and written, with team members, leaders and guests.
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Physical stamina: prolonged standing, walking, lifting, pushing and pulling 75+ pounds repeatedly, and bending, stooping and pushing; ability to withstand outdoor elements for long periods.

Required skills

• Intermediate computer skills and ability to learn Property Management Systems.
• Familiarity with Opera, HOTSOS and Alliant is preferred.
