Donor Development Coordinator

About the role

Community Action of Skagit County is seeking a Donor Development Coordinator to strengthen its fundraising program. The role involves building donor relationships, managing databases, and supporting marketing and event initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead coordination of the Annual Fundraising Plan, track progress, and manage deadlines.
• Maintain and optimize the DonorPerfect database, train staff, and ensure accurate donor records.
• Coordinate private grants, prospect research, proposal writing, and grant reporting.
• Develop donor communications using Constant Contact, social media, and manage newsletters and impact reports.
• Oversee donor acknowledgements, receipts, and improve related processes.
• Support fundraising events, including marketing, sponsorships, logistics, and data management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required; relevant experience may substitute.
• Experience in fundraising, marketing, communications, and database management.
• Valid driver’s license, auto liability insurance, and First Aid/CPR certification within six months of hire.

Required skills

• DonorPerfect and QGive database platforms.
• Constant Contact, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and social media tools.
• Microsoft 365 suite including Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook.
• Strong data entry, analysis, and attention to detail.
