Distribution Technician - Full Time

About the role

Jupiter Medical Center, ranked #1 for safety, quality and patient satisfaction in Palm Beach County, is hiring a full-time Distribution Technician. The technician receives, accounts for and distributes supplies and equipment shipped to the Medical Center, maintains par locations and keeps the warehouse clean and organized.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, account for and distribute supplies and equipment shipped to the Medical Center
• Set up, count, fill and maintain par locations
• Maintain, clean and organize the warehouse daily
• Oversee the distribution of linen, supplies and equipment used in the Medical Center
• Enter receipts and issues into the computer system
• Assist in the mailroom and perform shipping as required
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required profile

• High school graduate or equivalent
• One year of previous warehouse experience
• Ability to sit, stand and walk for long periods, and to bend, twist and lift supplies
• Able to lift up to 20 lbs and push or pull up to 40 lbs
• Manual dexterity for typing and data entry
• Ability to work under pressure, independently and with attention to detail
• Annual Joint Commission mandatory education, in-service and health requirements, TB/PPD surveillance program, and maintenance of required professional licenses or certifications
