Dishwasher – Southampton

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Dishwasher to join our back‑of‑house team at SA Hospitality Group’s Southampton location. The role ensures all kitchenware, cookware and equipment are cleaned and sanitized to support smooth restaurant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate dishwasher machines and perform hand‑washing of dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans and sheet pans as needed.
• Clean and sanitize garbage cans, work surfaces, ovens, floors, counters, freezers and refrigerators.
• Maintain a tidy kitchen environment by organizing clean utensils and equipment in designated storage areas.
• Sort and label incoming produce deliveries such as dairy and flour.
• Perform deep‑cleaning tasks including grease‑trap maintenance, sweeping, mopping and scrubbing of production areas.
• Assist with additional cleaning duties assigned by the manager or chef, including bathrooms, stairways and common areas.
• Monitor and restock toilet supplies and manage waste disposal.

Required profile

• Ability to work as part of a team and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Basic food‑handling and cleaning knowledge.
• Strong time‑management skills and capacity to work under pressure in a high‑volume environment.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb and stand for extended periods.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work varied shifts.
