Director/Senior Director, Retail – East Coast

About the role

We are seeking a senior retail leader to oversee a multi‑market portfolio across the Eastern and Central United States and Canada. Based in New York City, the role combines office days with extensive travel to stores, driving commercial performance and strategic direction for a luxury fragrance brand.

Key responsibilities

• Own overall sales and business performance for the regional retail portfolio.
• Develop and execute strategies that deliver sustainable revenue growth, profitability, and store productivity.
• Analyze sales trends, financial metrics, and operational data to identify opportunities and risks.
• Partner with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and expense management.
• Translate company priorities into actionable regional retail strategies, including market expansion and new store openings.
• Lead, coach, and develop Area Managers and senior retail leaders, building a strong talent pipeline.
• Champion an elevated customer experience, driving clienteling, CRM, and loyalty initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in retail, preferably within luxury or consumer goods.
• Strong track record of delivering sales growth and operational excellence across multiple markets.
• Excellent analytical and decision‑making skills with a focus on profitability.
• Ability to travel extensively (approximately 70% of the time) and manage overnight stays.
