Director, Supply Chain

About the role

The Director, Supply Chain leads a direct procurement, planning and supplier‑quality team supporting all active projects, including SPARC, ARC and R&D initiatives. The role covers strategic sourcing, tactical procurement, supplier management, development, reliability and supply‑chain project management across raw materials, machine parts, systems and construction.

Key responsibilities

• Hire, train, coach and develop the supply‑chain team.
• Define, assign and monitor objectives, ensuring cost, quality and delivery targets for assigned projects.
• Coordinate with engineering and construction leaders to plan work, manage workload and set priorities.
• Act as escalation point for issue resolution and maintain executive‑level relationships with major suppliers.
• Ensure process adherence and drive improvements in strategic sourcing, purchase‑order management and supplier quality.
• Report project status, risks and issues to supply‑chain and project leadership.
• Lead execution of business‑transformation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, business, finance or a related field.
• 10+ years of supply‑chain experience in a highly technical environment.
• 10+ years of successful team management and development experience.
• Proven experience sourcing and overseeing complex, multi‑commodity projects.
• Startup experience and ability to communicate across all functions.
• Strong contract‑structuring and negotiation capabilities.
