About the role
The Assistant Program Manager (APM) at Fort Bragg supports the ARSOF Program Manager in delivering contract requirements and training events. Acting as the principal assistant, the APM ensures operational excellence, compliance, and mission success across multiple government and contractor stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Program Manager in planning, directing, and monitoring ARSOF and other Fort Bragg contract execution.
- Coordinate internal operations including training support, logistics, maintenance, and exercise support functions.
- Monitor contract performance against the Performance Work Statement, Quality Control Plan, and deliverables.
- Maintain relationships with the Contracting Officer, CORs, and Government training leadership, attending reviews and briefings.
- Supervise site managers, logistics specialists, role‑player supervisors, instructors, and administrative staff, ensuring staffing and safety compliance.
Required profile
- U.S. citizen with a valid driver’s license and active security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Logistics, Military Science or equivalent 15 years SOF experience.
- Minimum 10 years of military, government, or contractor management experience supporting DoD programs.
- At least 5 years managing personnel, operations, or training support in a Special Operations or comparable environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience using contract management systems.
