Chief Logistician

About the role

The Chief Logistician provides logistics, supply, and property accountability support for the Special Operations Mission Training Center. This senior position ensures personnel have the equipment, supplies, and logistical support needed to execute training and operational requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage logistics operations supporting Special Operations Mission Training Center activities.
• Execute supply management and accountability functions, including issue, turn‑in, tracking and reporting of Government property.
• Maintain property accountability records and use the Global Combat Support System–Army (GCSS‑Army) to support logistics processes.
• Coordinate logistics support for special events, exercises and surge requirements, and assist with inventories, reconciliations, audits and inspections.

Required profile

• High School diploma.
• Minimum five years of logistics experience, including at least two years using GCSS‑Army.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Knowledge of Army supply regulations and Department of Defense property management policies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Global Combat Support System–Army (GCSS‑Army).
