Director, Small and Medium Business Product Commercialization

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a senior leader to drive go‑to‑market strategies for AI‑enabled, beyond‑card payment solutions targeting small and medium‑sized enterprises in the United States. The role sits at the intersection of product strategy, technical sales commercialization and AI innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Commercialize AI and beyond‑card solutions with clients, partners and ecosystem stakeholders, ensuring releases are adoption‑ready and meet usability, scalability, performance and trust requirements.
• Develop sales materials, product enablement resources and value narratives for SME sales leads and account teams, and support pipeline execution and market penetration.
• Oversee customer pilots and implementation of key products, providing technical implementation support and business enablement in partnership with cross‑functional teams.
• Provide continuous SME feedback to product teams, build executive‑level stakeholder relationships and influence cross‑functional alignment.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of the payments industry serving the small and medium business sector.
• Experience in business development, sales and product management of complex technical solutions.
• Proven ability to design, deploy and scale product adoption and sales revenue enablement.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication with a can‑do attitude.

Required skills

• Strong product thinking and technical product management capabilities.
• Knowledge of AI/agentic technologies as applied to payment solutions.
