Director, Revenue Cycle Management – Healthcare & Life Sciences

About the role

Riveron is seeking an experienced leader to expand its Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) capabilities within the Healthcare & Life Sciences sector. The role combines deep industry operating experience with consulting expertise to drive complex financial and operational transformations for health system clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end RCM engagements from diagnostic assessment through implementation and sustained performance improvement.
• Assess revenue cycle environments, identify gaps, quantify financial opportunities and translate findings into executable initiatives with measurable outcomes.
• Drive transformation across patient access, coding, charge capture, claims, payment, accounts receivable, denials and patient financial services.
• Advise clients on operating model, shared services, vendor/outsource strategies and the use of technology, analytics, automation and AI.
• Build trusted relationships with healthcare executives and serve as a hands‑on advisor throughout engagements.

Required profile

• Significant progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle and financial operations, with leadership responsibility in a provider organization.
• Demonstrated record of transforming underperforming revenue cycle operations and delivering measurable cash‑flow and profitability improvements.
• Strong financial acumen, understanding of liquidity, working capital, margin, EBITDA and enterprise value.
• Experience navigating multidisciplinary teams, senior client stakeholders, technology vendors and outsourced RCM environments.

Required skills

• Deep end‑to‑end knowledge of professional and facility revenue cycles.
• Consulting or advisory experience translating industry expertise into actionable client solutions.
• Familiarity with major EHR and practice‑management platforms.
• Proficiency with analytics, automation and artificial‑intelligence tools for RCM transformation.
