Director of Projects

About the role

The Director of Projects provides leadership, governance, and oversight for Barnhart's project portfolio and management program across the branch network, ensuring safe, efficient execution aligned with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation and continuous improvement of project processes, tools and standards.
• Establish and maintain project governance, reporting and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with IT, Engineering, Operations, Fleet, Logistics and Fabrication to integrate project processes into company systems.
• Monitor project pipeline, resource allocation and health, especially for complex and nuclear‑related projects.
• Facilitate weekly project review meetings and participate in Nuclear Council and Project Performance Review Committee discussions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or related field (preferred).
• 10+ years of project management, operations or construction leadership experience.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem‑solving and organizational skills.
