Director of Product Management – Data & Agentic AI Platform

About the role

Achieve is building a next‑generation AI‑driven financial services platform. As Director of Product Management you will own the enterprise Data Platform and the Agentic AI Platform, defining strategy, roadmap and early technology choices while working closely with engineering, security, risk and compliance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategy for the enterprise data platform, including architecture, migration, cost optimisation and success metrics.
• Own the roadmap for data products (identity, consent, product interaction, insights) and enable self‑serve natural‑language analytics.
• Lead the design of the enterprise semantic layer, business glossary and context engineering for AI agents.
• Set vision and multi‑year roadmap for the shared agent harness, building reference workflows and enabling cross‑functional teams to create AI‑driven workflows.
• Embed governance, safety, audit trails and human‑in‑the‑loop controls into the platform, aligned with regulatory risk.

Required profile

• 10+ years of product management experience delivering platform, data or infrastructure services consumed by multiple teams.
• Proven track record of building shared infrastructure that creates operating leverage, not isolated point solutions.
• Experience leading large‑scale data or platform migrations and managing cloud, storage, model and vendor costs.
• Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders, explain technical concepts to executives and drive outcomes without direct authority.

Required skills

• Modern data architecture: Snowflake, Databricks, data warehouses, lakehouses, ETL/ELT, event streaming.
• Semantic layers, metric stores, ontologies, business glossaries.
• Data governance: lineage, quality, privacy, access controls, especially in regulated financial services.
• AI platform knowledge: model, token and inference cost management, agentic workflows, voice AI, authentication, latency, human handoff, compliance.
• Comfort working with code, prompts and evaluation frameworks to earn credibility with engineering teams.
