Director of Integrated Marketing and Strategic Communications

About the role

The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff seeks an innovative, strategic communications leader to serve as Director of Integrated Marketing and Strategic Communications. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, this senior role will guide the university’s branding, marketing, media relations, digital and crisis communications to enhance reputation and stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies across paid, earned, shared and owned media.
• Lead institutional branding, reputation management and executive messaging.
• Oversee media relations, digital communications, crisis communications and creative services.
• Collaborate with campus leadership to align communications with enrollment, philanthropy, research and community engagement goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism or related field.
• Minimum five years of progressive leadership experience in marketing, communications or brand management.
• Proven ability to develop and implement integrated marketing and strategic communications plans.
• Experience supervising communications professionals and managing complex projects.
