Director of Human Resources – Senior HR Leader

About the role

Ceres Environmental Services is seeking a senior‑level Director of Human Resources to join its executive team in Sarasota, FL. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will shape people strategy across multiple states, countries, and business units, supporting the company’s mission to help communities recover from crises.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the chief HR advisor to the CEO and senior leadership, defining and executing a unified people strategy.
• Standardize HR policies, compliance, and best practices across all Ceres entities.
• Lead talent acquisition, development, compensation, and total rewards programs.
• Oversee HR operations, including employee relations, benefits administration, and workforce planning.
• Drive culture initiatives that reinforce resilience, diversity, and teamwork.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior HR leader, preferably at the director or VP level.
• Track record of building HR frameworks for multi‑location organizations.
• Strong partnership skills with C‑suite executives.
• Demonstrated ability to align HR strategy with business growth and mission‑driven goals.
