Director, HR Business Partner – Life Sciences & Medical

About the role

Excelitas Technologies is seeking a Director, HR Business Partner for its Life Sciences & Medical division. This senior leader will act as a strategic partner to general management, driving culture, talent, and organizational effectiveness across the division.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with divisional leadership to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business goals.
• Lead talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning to ensure a high‑performing workforce.
• Oversee compensation, benefits, and performance management to reinforce the division’s objectives.
• Identify training needs, design development programs, and support future leadership continuity.
• Resolve complex employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and report workforce metrics such as turnover, demographics, and compensation trends.
• Ensure adoption of corporate HR policies and collaborate with legal and compliance teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in an international strategic partner role.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment law, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven leadership and people‑management abilities with a track record of building high‑performing teams.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Strategic thinker capable of analyzing complex business challenges and delivering innovative HR solutions.
