Director of Facilities, Ministry Support & Maintenance

About the role

The Director of Facilities, Ministry Support and Maintenance provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for facilities and ministry environments across all campuses. This senior position ensures each location is safe, functional, clean and fully equipped for worship services, events and daily ministry activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coach Regional Managers at each campus, establishing consistent standards for facility maintenance, ministry setup, safety and cleanliness.
• Oversee facility and ministry setup budgets, monitor expenses and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Develop and manage preventative maintenance programs using MaintainX, ensuring timely work orders and equipment upkeep.
• Coordinate ministry setup and teardown processes through Rock RMS, creating scalable systems that meet each campus’s unique needs.
• Maintain vendor relationships, evaluate performance and ensure quality, safety and accountability across all service providers.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in senior facilities or operations leadership, preferably within a multi‑site organization.
• Strong coaching ability to develop Regional Managers and campus teams.
• Commitment to spiritual growth, prayer and alignment with the organization’s faith‑centered culture.
• Ability to partner with ministry leaders, anticipate operational needs and remove obstacles.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MaintainX for work order and preventive maintenance management.
• Experience using Rock RMS for ministry setup request tracking.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and other building systems.
• Budget oversight and vendor management capabilities.
