Director of Engineering – Solar PV Systems

About the role

This senior leader will manage and oversee the construction of our solar PV project portfolio, ensuring delivery on schedule, on budget, and to the highest safety and customer‑service standards. The role bridges technical, commercial, and strategic functions across development and construction teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee project estimates, schedules, milestones and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Implement systems, processes, policies and procedures to continuously improve efficiency and quality.
• Conduct regular site walk‑throughs to evaluate quality, progress and promote team morale.
• Manage quality, risk, safety and compliance for projects and teams.
• Drive performance‑based culture through KPI definition, measurement and accountability.
• Handle day‑to‑day project operations, contract administration, budgets, schedules and pricing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with a strong academic record.
• Minimum 10 years of engineering experience with complex clean‑energy solutions in commercial/industrial markets.
• Proven track record of building and leading high‑performance teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with senior leadership.
