Entry Level Restoration Technician

About the role

ServiceMaster Restoration Services is hiring entry‑level technicians to restore homes and businesses after water, fire, mold, and storm damage. No prior experience is required; paid training is provided.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with water, fire, smoke, and mold damage restoration.
• Perform demolition, debris removal, and job site cleanup.
• Set up and monitor drying equipment such as dehumidifiers and air movers.
• Remove damaged drywall, flooring, insulation, and other building materials.
• Pack, move, clean, and organize customer belongings.
• Document job progress and communicate updates to supervisors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record preferred.
• Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and dependable attendance.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Required skills

• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lb regularly.
• Comfort working in damaged properties, hot/cold/humid conditions, and wearing protective equipment.
