Maintenance Technician – Reedhouse

About the role

Greystar is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for its Reedhouse property in Boise. The role involves performing technical and mechanical work to keep buildings, grounds, and amenities clean, safe, and functional while delivering excellent resident service.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and preventative maintenance work orders, diagnosing issues and repairing according to safety standards and code.
• Perform the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Maintain exterior buildings, parking areas, and common spaces by cleaning, pressure‑washing, painting, and trash removal.
• Assist with vendor management, inventory tracking, and cost‑control initiatives such as part repair versus replacement.

Required profile

• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical equipment.
• Experience in painting, entry‑level carpentry, appliance repair, and basic plumbing.
• Professional demeanor, strong communication skills, and ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required skills

• EPA Type 1, Type 2 or Universal refrigerant recycling certification.
• Valid driver’s license (for golf‑cart operation where applicable).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
