Director of Customer Success

About the role

Read AI is seeking a Director of Customer Success to lead and scale its post‑sale organization, covering both strategic account management and high‑volume customer success operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Account Managers, driving retention, growth and strategic guidance for enterprise customers.
• Oversee high‑volume customer success and technical support across email, chat and other channels, improving efficiency with AI and automation.
• Partner with Sales, Product, Engineering and Growth to ensure smooth onboarding, renewals, expansions and feedback loops.
• Build structured engagement strategies, lifecycle programs and operational playbooks for larger accounts.
• Develop reporting and data analysis to identify trends, risks and product gaps.

Required profile

• 7+ years in customer success, support, account management or related leadership roles.
• Proven experience scaling SaaS customer‑facing teams in a high‑growth environment.
• Strong operational and analytical mindset with data‑driven decision making.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Product, Engineering, Sales and Growth teams.
• Experience managing technical or product support organizations.

What we offer

• Base salary $165,000‑$200,000 per year plus equity.
