Director of Consultant Relations (Remote)

About the role

9amHealth is seeking a Director of Consultant Relations to expand its presence in the benefits consulting and pharmacy‑benefit‑manager (PBM) space. This remote, full‑time position will serve as the primary liaison with consultants and advisors who influence employer healthcare decisions, ensuring our AI‑enabled virtual specialty care platform stays top‑of‑mind.

Key responsibilities

• Build and nurture relationships with employee‑benefits consultants, pharmacy consultants, and other key influencers in the employer health ecosystem.
• Secure commercial agreements and formal partnerships with consulting firms and their client networks.
• Host and attend events to deepen relationships and raise awareness of 9amHealth.
• Maintain up‑to‑date vendor profiles on consultant and broker platforms.
• Identify incentive structures and co‑marketing opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal sales and marketing teams to provide proposals, case studies, and other materials.
• Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and client needs to inform strategy.

Required profile

• 7+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in digital health, PBMs, benefits, or healthcare services.
• Proven success selling to or through consultants, brokers, or advisors.
• Exceptional networking ability and comfort engaging stakeholders at all levels.
• Self‑starter with disciplined pipeline management.
• Willingness to travel to partner offices, industry events, and conferences as needed.
