Director, Litigation Advisory Services – Restructuring & Turnaround

About the role

Riveron is seeking a Director to lead its Litigation Advisory Services practice within the Restructuring & Turnaround Services group. The role serves as a trusted advisor to attorneys, corporate clients, and stakeholders on complex commercial disputes, investigations, and financial matters.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex litigation consulting engagements from case assessment through trial, arbitration, mediation, or settlement.
• Develop and evaluate economic damages models, lost‑profit analyses, business interruption damages, and business valuation analyses.
• Conduct forensic accounting investigations, including fraud detection, financial misconduct, and asset tracing.
• Assist counsel with case strategy development, discovery planning, and preparation of expert reports, declarations, and presentations.
• Manage day‑to‑day client communications, support client pitches, and develop relationships with law firms and corporate counsel.
• Lead and mentor consulting teams, oversee project staffing, budgets, and quality control.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field; CPA designation strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in litigation consulting, forensic accounting, valuation, or related advisory services.
• Proven experience quantifying economic damages, lost profits, and business‑valuation‑related damages.
• Demonstrated ability to manage engagements from inception through resolution and to prepare expert reports.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with attorneys, clients, and internal stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
