Director, Development & Engagement

About the role

The Director of Development & Engagement leads the engagement team, driving participant satisfaction, retention and organic growth across Contexture’s largest accounts. Based in Denver or Grand Junction, Colorado, the role combines strategic planning with cross‑functional collaboration to expand the company’s value proposition.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a business development strategy, identifying cross‑program opportunities and new revenue streams.
• Lead the engagement team to meet annual and individual sales targets while managing the engagement budget and performance reporting.
• Design and implement strategies for participant retention, re‑engagement and credentialing/verification compliance.
• Collaborate with senior leadership, client support, operations and marketing to create workflows, targeted messaging and account‑distribution plans.
• Oversee data accuracy, audit processes and provide leadership for recruitment, training and staff supervision.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing high‑priority accounts and leading teams in a senior or director‑level capacity.
• Strong understanding of healthcare provider networks, HIE systems and related regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work independently in remote or hybrid environments and influence senior executives.

• Experience with data governance, credentialing and compliance processes.
