About the role
Provide compassionate, in‑home support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Work independently in clients' homes or community settings across Hickory and surrounding areas.
Key responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care such as dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
- Accompany clients to errands, appointments, and community integration activities.
- Support daily living tasks including meal preparation.
Required profile
- At least one year of verifiable experience caring for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
- Ability to work independently and follow client‑centered plans.
Required skills
- Basic personal care techniques.
- Transportation and community navigation skills.
