About the role
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Direct Support Professional who is fluent in American Sign Language to provide one‑on‑one support for a client with intellectual or developmental disabilities in Mooresville, NC.
Key responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance such as bathing and dressing.
- Accompany the client on errands, appointments, and community activities.
- Engage in the client’s favorite hobbies and assist with meal preparation.
Required profile
- At least one year of experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities (training available for newcomers).
- Fluent communication in American Sign Language (ASL preferred).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
