About the role
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking Direct Care Workers (PCAs) to provide personal care and support to clients in their homes. No prior experience is required as a 40‑hour training program is provided.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and oral feeding.
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and bed making.
- Support mobility through ambulation assistance, transfers, and use of mechanical lifting devices.
- Monitor vital signs and help with range‑of‑motion exercises.
- Provide medication assistance and basic health observations.
Required profile
- Minimum of one year paid personal care experience, or a current CNA license, or completion of BAYADA’s 40‑hour training.
- Ability to work flexible schedules and travel short distances to client homes.
Required skills
- Basic personal care techniques.
- Understanding of safety and compliance standards in home health settings.
