About the role
Join BAYADA as a Direct Care Worker (ACSP) to provide personal care, household support, and companionship to adults living at home. You will follow a nurse‑written care plan and help clients maintain safety and independence.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
- Provide household support including light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
- Prepare meals, feed clients, and offer medication reminders.
- Support range‑of‑motion exercises and assist with ambulation using mechanical lifting devices.
Required profile
- Passion for caregiving and desire to help others.
- Commitment to being present and delivering quality care.
- Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.
- Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
