Developer Relations Lead

About the role

Restate is seeking a Developer Relations Lead to bridge the gap between its durable execution platform and the developer community. You will shape editorial content, drive product launches, and nurture a growing community of over 10,000 developers.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute editorial strategy for blogs, tutorials, sample apps, videos, and conference talks.
• Lead product launches, community highlights, and success‑story campaigns to raise Restate’s visibility.
• Grow and animate the community on Slack, Discord, and GitHub, surfacing developer feedback to the product team.
• Partner with founders and engineers on documentation, tutorials, and example projects.

Required profile

• Technical fluency sufficient to follow design reviews and translate complex concepts for a broader audience.
• Proven public writing portfolio (posts, talks, shipped projects) trusted by developers in the AI infrastructure space.
• Strong marketing instinct for launching initiatives that resonate with engineers.
• Passion for AI infrastructure, durable execution, and the ability to discuss these topics with scale‑focused engineers.

Required skills

• Experience creating developer‑focused content (blogs, tutorials, videos).
• Ability to engage and grow communities on platforms such as Slack, Discord, and GitHub.
• Familiarity with AI‑driven workflows and how AI influences search and discovery patterns.
