Deployment Strategist, U.S. Navy

About the role

The Deployment Strategist ensures successful definition, implementation, and operation of Rivet systems for U.S. Navy customers, bridging technical teams and stakeholders to deliver strategic outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new opportunities across NAVSEA, NAVAIR, shipbuilding, maintenance, sustainment, logistics, and other Navy mission areas.
• Build and manage relationships with Navy leaders, program offices, and acquisition stakeholders to understand needs and create demand for Rivet solutions.
• Design and execute comprehensive deployment plans, ensuring integration of hardware and software systems within Navy organizations.
• Partner with commercial and engineering teams to translate Navy requirements into technical proposals and executable plans.
• Act as the customer voice, advocating Navy needs while identifying opportunities to expand program scope.
• Own opportunities from initial engagement through pilot, deployment, and program expansion.

Required profile

• 5+ years managing DoD/U.S. Navy deployments of complex integrated technology solutions.
• 5+ years in technical solution sales, business development, or customer‑facing roles with government customers.
• Proven ability to translate operational needs into executable technology solutions and business opportunities.
• Experience with technical proposals, SOW development, and government sales processes.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to build trust with senior military and acquisition stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel 35‑70% and ability to obtain or hold an active U.S. security clearance.
