Demand Planner
PT Organics Ltd.
Job description
About the role
As a Demand Planner at PT Organics Ltd, you will own the end‑to‑end demand planning process for a portfolio of 40 organic snack SKUs. You will build and maintain accurate forecasts, work closely with Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain, and help keep the supply chain lean while protecting service levels.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a rolling 12–18 month statistical demand forecast for all SKUs, updating it monthly and incorporating sales pipelines, promotions, seasonality and new product launches.
- Monitor forecast accuracy (MAPE/bias), identify demand signals such as POS data and distribution changes, and implement continuous‑improvement actions.
- Lead the monthly demand review within the S&OP cycle, presenting the consensus forecast and aligning volume assumptions across Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain.
- Partner with supply planning and procurement to translate demand into production, inventory targets and distribution requirements, setting safety stock levels and reorder points.
- Track inventory health metrics (stock cover, ageing, potential stock‑outs) and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate on trade promotions, new channel expansions and seasonal programs, quantifying incremental lift and building pre‑ and post‑event analyses.
- Support new SKU launches and phase‑outs with launch curves, cannibalisation estimates and end‑of‑life planning.
- Own demand‑planning tools and master data, build weekly/monthly KPI dashboards, and leverage ERP/planning systems to automate reporting and exception management.
Required profile
- 3–5 years of demand planning, supply chain or inventory management experience, preferably in the CPG industry.
- Proven ability to build statistical forecasts and manage a multi‑SKU portfolio.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
- Experience with ERP and planning systems.
- Statistical forecasting techniques.
- Data modeling and KPI dashboard creation.
