About the role

Join Meijer as a Deli Bakery Clerk and help create a fresh, welcoming store experience. You will interact with customers, maintain product displays, and support multiple fresh departments.

Key responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates.
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise products according to standards.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments such as Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce, and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

Required profile

• Friendly, customer‑first mindset with strong listening and communication skills.
• Ability to stay organized, follow processes, and maintain safety standards.
• Willingness to be physically active, including lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.
• Comfort learning and using job‑specific technology.
• Previous retail or food service experience is helpful but not required.
