DeFi Operations Specialist

About the role

Bullish's BTH unit, which drives its proprietary trading, capital deployment and treasury yield optimization, is looking for a highly analytical, execution-driven DeFi Operations Specialist. The role sits at the intersection of traditional treasury management and decentralized finance, covering the day-to-day execution, risk monitoring and operational lifecycle of capital deployed across AMMs, lending/borrowing markets and yield protocols. It reports to the Head of BTH & Treasury Operations and can be based in the Cayman Islands or New York.

Key responsibilities

• Execute capital deployment, rebalancing, supply and borrow actions across major DeFi protocols (e.g. Aave, Morpho, Curve, Uniswap) under firm-approved guardrails.
• Monitor interest rates, borrow costs and utilization across EVM and non-EVM networks, and propose capital reallocation to optimize net interest margins.
• Manage multi-sig workflows, warm/cold wallets and cross-chain bridging, adhering to operational security protocols.
• Assist in daily reconciliation of deployed capital, collateral ratios, accrued interest, earned yield and reward token harvests, working with accounting and finance.
• Monitor health factors, collateralization ratios and protocol risk profiles to prevent liquidation events.
• Maintain quantitative models on yield sensitivity, liquidity depth and partnership economics for prospective DeFi integrations.

Required profile

• 5+ years in financial operations, trading support or treasury management, with at least 1-2 years in Web3/DeFi.
• Deep knowledge of DeFi protocols, lend/borrow dynamics and yield mechanics (liquid staking/restaking, LP provisioning).
• Strong foundation in traditional finance: yield curves, time value of money, interest rate derivatives and risk-adjusted returns.
• Ability to work calmly and methodically in a fast-paced, 24/7 trading environment.

Required skills

• Block explorers (Etherscan, Solscan) and institutional infrastructure (Fireblocks, Fordefi)
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets modeling
• Familiarity with Python, SQL or Dune Analytics is helpful

What we offer

• Anticipated base salary of $100,000 - $145,000, plus a discretionary annual target bonus and performance incentives/benefits.
