Defense Finance Lead, Strategic Finance

About the role

We are looking for a strategic finance leader to drive the financial performance of our fast‑growing Defense business. Embedded in the Strategic Finance team and reporting to the Head of Defense, you will partner with product, engineering and go‑to‑market leaders to shape investment decisions and guide the business trajectory.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Head of Defense and cross‑functional leaders on investment prioritization and opportunity assessment.
• Own and communicate the financial picture of the Defense unit to the executive team and Board.
• Develop pricing strategies and structure agreements for defense customers, building models that link price, cost of delivery and margin.
• Partner with go‑to‑market, Legal and Contracts on pursue/pass decisions, proposal economics and negotiation strategy for major opportunities.
• Lead the financial case development for new programs and ensure alignment with corporate goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading finance in a high‑growth technology or defense environment.
• Ability to influence senior leadership and translate complex financial data into clear business insights.
• Strong analytical mindset with a track record of building robust financial models.
• Comfort operating as the financial counterpart to product, engineering and go‑to‑market teams.
