Decision Scientist - Media Measurement & Analytics

About the role

FBS is recruiting a Decision Scientist for its client, one of the largest US insurers serving more than 10 million households. The role drives marketing measurement and media effectiveness through incrementality testing, causal inference and advanced analytics, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to optimise media investments. It sits in the Media Measurement & Analytics team, which supports media teams in executing and optimising media budgets.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement incrementality tests.
• Analyse the output of MMM (media mix modelling) models.
• Develop other forms of marketing measurement to give a full picture of marketing effectiveness.
• Communicate results to leadership and stakeholders, including entry-level and C-suite audiences, and share actionable insights that improve marketing efficiency.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in analytics and/or data science.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• Fluency in English.
• Comfortable interpreting analysis results for stakeholders across a wide range of seniority.

Required skills

• Experience with large and complex datasets.
• Causal inference tools such as difference-in-differences, synthetic controls and propensity score matching applied to real problems.
• Experimental design and incrementality testing.
• Working knowledge of R or Python, SQL and PowerBI.
