About the role
Central Automotive Group, a network of automotive dealerships in Houston, TX, is seeking an experienced dealership accounting professional for its Central Houston Nissan location. The role begins on the cash receipts desk with opportunities to learn additional accounting functions.
Key responsibilities
- Post daily cash deposits and credit card payments from multiple stores.
- Collaborate with service, parts, and sales departments to reconcile items and follow up as needed.
- Obtain and file required Form 8300s in a timely manner.
- Reconcile maintenance payments and ensure timely receipt of payments.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Automotive experience preferred but not required.
Required skills
- Excellent communication and active listening.
- Strong basic math abilities (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Proficient computer skills with ability to learn new software.
