Data Scientist – Remote (NYC office)

About the role

Join a fast‑moving team that applies data science and machine learning to the private‑equity investment process. You will work remotely while spending three days a week in the New York office, collaborating with seasoned professionals to shape multi‑billion‑dollar investment decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop predictive models and proprietary analytics from large, terabyte‑scale datasets.
• Create visual insights and dashboards directly for stakeholders.
• Architect and manage analytical projects from ideation through launch.
• Leverage alternative data to identify optimal investment opportunities.
• Conduct competitive analyses using all relevant data sources.
• Use ground‑truth data from portfolio companies to improve outcomes such as lead generation, forecasting, and churn modeling.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, etc.) or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience with machine‑learning techniques and data‑science concepts.
• Strong interest in venture capital and private‑equity markets.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
