Data Entry Specialist – Remote (CA or WI)

About the role

TD Thornton is seeking a detail‑oriented Data Entry Specialist to support its recruiting operations. This part‑time, remote position works with the Greenhouse Applicant Tracking System to keep candidate and job data accurate and up‑to‑date.

Key responsibilities

• Enter, update, and maintain candidate and job information in Greenhouse ATS.
• Review records for accuracy, correct errors, and audit for missing data.
• Organize digital recruiting files and documentation.
• Support recruiters by ensuring candidate records are current and properly tracked.
• Generate basic reports and provide data updates to internal stakeholders.
• Communicate data discrepancies and required updates to team members.
• Follow established data‑management processes and maintain confidentiality.
• Assist with special projects and additional administrative tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• 2+ years of data entry or office support experience (preferred).
• Experience migrating data in an ATS, preferably Greenhouse.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Basic computer proficiency and typing skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management, written and verbal communication skills.
