Data Engineer for Azure Cloud Platforms

About the role

As a Data Engineer at Inspire Brands, you will support the Enterprise Data Organization by building and managing Azure‑based data pipelines. You will work with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, automated data solutions that enable business insights.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated data solutions, including data models, database objects, stored procedures, and views.
• Develop and enhance data processing components such as ingest, transformation, storage, management, and quality checks.
• Support and troubleshoot the data environment, including on‑call rotations.
• Document technical artifacts for all developed solutions.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholder groups and apply Agile practices.

Required profile

• 4‑year degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance/Mathematics, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of hands‑on data engineering experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and independent work capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build sustainable relationships across teams.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL querying, scripting, stored procedures, and materialized views.
• Experience with ELT processes and analytical SQL functions.
• Cloud Data Warehouse platforms (Snowflake, Azure DW, Redshift) and data modeling.
• DevOps CI/CD tools and hands‑on Azure services (ADLS, Blob Storage).
• Familiarity with Talend, Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, and Tableau.
